This illustration was commissioned for the Winter issue of Early Years magazine, for a feature evaluating the first year of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The EYFS is a framework which sets standards for the development, learning and care of children from birth to five.
The designers at the magazine already had this heart-shaped table concept in mind, so it was down to me to bring it to life, in all its cheery colourful glory.
