People Management magazine asked me to create an illustration based on interim management in an ever-changing economic climate, for use on the cover and inside pages of their PM Guide.
The article mentioned more people moving into the interim market and forging ahead, which seemed like a positive aspect to focus on. Therefore, I decided to draw conceptual parallels with the shrewd game of chess, where many a clever move is made. I was also pleased that the chequered board lent itself well to creating a striking graphic backdrop.
